It holds a carat of 24.78 and the gemologists are expecting that it could top the previous record of the blue diamond that was sold for $24.3 million in 2008. David Bennett, the head of Sotheby’s jewelry division, told the reporters in Geneva. “This is undoubtedly one of the most important diamonds to appear at auction in recent years,” many buyers are already in interested in viewing and buying this diamond. It is a rare diamond and has a beautiful color and also, it has classic cut with rounded corners. Hmm, let us see whether this diamond will have a world record or not.
